The Tuck (I made the name up,can you tell)?

Here is a very very easy hairstyle even easier than the messy bun

what you will need

hairbrush

hair band

step one

collect your hair into a low ponytail

step two

take your ponytail and split it above the hair binder flip in.

Hairspray optional

that hairstyle took me seriously 20 seconds, granted when you do it it will probably look better the one I did was not a very good example, hey but you have to say it looks pretty good for having it done in 20 seconds!

This is just another version all you have to do is when you tuck it don't go all the way!

sorry this one didn't turn out so well, but trust me it usually looks better!

If you had a hard time understanding this through me a comment and I will try to make it more understandable.

I tagged you Nela

I posted three times today so make sure to scroll down and comment on those too, they are very important!

so many questions...

I am getting my braces tightened for the first time, and I am getting nervous! How bad does it hurt has anyone had braces on before! On a scale from one to ten how bad is it? does it hurt as bad as when you get them on? When I got my braces on it didn't hurt in the least! I am just full of questions today.
Help,
Lauren

my newest project

My mom and I went to the store today and got a pattern and picked out some materiel to make a skirt with. I ended up with a patchwork kind of materiel with all different colors and patterns on it! Making a skirt is very fun and a productive thing to do when you are bored. I am not saying that it is not work, but it is more like... fun work (if there is such a thing)lol. on the pattern packet it says easy but we will see when we are all finished with it! I will try to get a picture of the finished product as soon as I can!

Gingerbread men (recipie)

Gingerbread men

Hard Medium Easy
From now on whichever one I underline Hard medium or easy is how hard I thought it was.
This was an awesome recipe My whole family just LOVED them. I made them by my self so it wasn't that hared! this recipe is delicious!

3 1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter (room temperature, softened)
1/2 cup dark-brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp ground ginger
1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup unsulfured molasses
Optional raisins, chocolate chips, candy pieces, frosting
Royal Icing

1 egg white
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 3/4 cup confectioners sugar (powdered sugar)
Method
1 In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and spices. Set aside.

2 In an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Mix in eggs and molasses. Gradually add the flour mixture; combine on low speed. (You may need to work it with your hands to incorporate the last bit of flour.) Divide dough in thirds; wrap each third in plastic. Chill for at least 1 hour or overnight. Before rolling out, let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes. If after refrigerating the dough feels too soft to roll-out, work in a little more flour.

3 Heat oven to 350°. Place a dough third on a large piece of lightly floured parchment paper or wax paper. Using a rolling pin, roll dough 1/8 inch thick. Refrigerate again for 5-10 minutes to make it easier to cut out the cookies. Use either a cookie cutter or place a stencil over the dough and use a knife to cut into desired shapes. Press raisins, chocolate chips, or candy pieces in the center of each cookie if desired for "buttons".
4 Transfer to ungreased baking sheets. Bake until crisp but not darkened, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Let sit a few minutes and then use a metal spatula to transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely. Decorate as desired.
Makes 16 5-inch long cookies.

Royal Icing
The traditional way to make Royal Icing is to beat egg whites and lemon juice together, adding the powdered sugar until the mixture holds stiff peaks. With modern concerns about salmonella from raw eggs, you can either use powdered egg whites or heat the egg whites first to kill any bacteria. With the heating method, mix the egg white and lemon juice with a third of the sugar, heat in a microwave until the mixture's temperature is 160°F. Then remove from microwave, and beat in the remaining sugar until stiff peaks form. Using the powdered egg whites method, combine 1 Tbsp egg white powder with 2 Tbsp water. Proceed as you would otherwise. (Raw egg white alternatives from the 2006 Joy of Cooking)
If the icing is too runny, add more powdered sugar until you get the desired consistency. Fill a piping bag with the icing to pipe out into different shapes. (Or use a plastic sandwich bag, with the tip of one corner of the bag cut off.) Keep the icing covered while you work with it or it will dry out.

flower pen( I know I am just into flowers)

These are very cute and easy pens!

•Pen
•Silk or Plastic Flower with Stem
•Green Floral Tape
•Scissors
Instructions:
Hold the flower next to the pen and clip the flower stem so it is about 2-inches up from the tip of the pen. The flower should sit on the end of the pen. Remove and leaves. While holding the flower stem tightly against the pen, wrap the entire length of the pen with floral tape. This will secure the pen and flower together. With the floral tape you do not need tape or glue!

flowers

flowers

finished product

picture 1

I have tried to make these so many times using different directions but this is the one that I have found works the best!

What you'll need:
-Pastel colored tissue paper
-Chenille stem
-Scissors
-Ruler

How to make it:Cut tissue paper into rectangles of desired size (5"x7" is the size pictured - see picture 1
Stack around 15 pieces of tissue paper. Use the same color or different colors. If you want to use a smaller number of pieces of tissue paper, flower will not be as full.
Accordion pleat the tissue paper working from the long side.
Wind one end of the chenille stem around the middle of the accordion pleated tissue paper.-see picture 2.
Trim the ends of each side to give the pedals a unique look. Trimming the ends into a point (like a triangle), or a bump (like a half circle) will look very pretty.
Gently separate each layer-see picture 3 pulling upwards toward the middle of the flower. (See photo). Do the second side.-see picture 4.
Let the children make a couple of flowers and put them in a May Basket. Early on the morning of May 1st hang on your mother's door, a neighbor's door, a friend's, or anyone special to you. Remember, it's supposed to be a surprise!

Tips:If you want to give your flowers some leaves, include a stack of green tissue paper folded accordion style during step 3. Trim the green paper into a shape of a leaf.

Unknown Hairstyle

I don't know the name of this hairstyle but I will try to explain it the best that I can! In this hairstyle it is supposed to be like a headband hairstyle.
model: Allyssa

what you will need...
water bottle
bobby pins
hairbrush

step...
  1. start off by spraying your hair with the water bottle and you can add hair products if you want to.make sure to brush it.
  2. next take the hair right by the front of your hair and clipping it to the top of your head
  3. Then take the hair right by your ears and braid it on each side( take a small section this will be the headband so you can decide if you want it to have it big or small).
  4. Take a bobby pin(use as many as you need) and pin the two braids that you have on each side to the top of your head so it looks like a headband
  5. Now you take all you hair ,including the hair I told you to clip up. You can put it in a braid(as shown above) high bun or a low ponytail.
This is one of my favorite hairstyles it can be more formal or less formal!
